Bring the outside in.
Australian Interior Design predictions suggest that dark green palettes will replace dark blues and navy.
This doesn’t mean you have to re-paint, you can add shades of green throughout your home with plants, furniture and accessories.
Used selectively, splashes of green introduce a sense of calm and life to a home.

Nothing says spring like flowers.
Another trend predicted by Victoria Redshaw (founder of UK design blog Scarlet Opus) is the resurgence of the colour mauve, which hasn’t been in favour since the late 1990’s. If mauve isn’t a colour that compliments your home décor, you can still add beautiful spring colours with flowers. Your favourite selection of fresh cut flowers will brighten and perfume the air to welcome you as you enter your home. Potted flowering bulbs such as hyacinths are also easily moved around the house to catch the sunlight and brighten up rooms.
